2022: Appeared in 42 games, making 39 starts…hit .198 with five doubles and 10 RBIs…drove in two runs in season opener against Fairleigh Dickinson…collected a pair of doubles in the victory over Charleston Southern…had season-high three RBIs against Siena…went 2-for-3 in the middle game of the Creighton series…doubled and scored twice in the victory over ETSU.

2021: Appeared in 18 games, making five starts…hit .269 with two doubles and two RBIs…also scored seven runs…went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in first start against North Carolina A&T…doubled and drove in a run in only at-bat in victory over Davidson…singled and scored in series finale against Mercer…came off bench to single in only at-bat against Mississippi State.

2020: Appeared in four games…pinch hit against Saint Peter’s twice and Hartford…inserted as a pinch runner against VCU.

2019: Appeared in 31 games, making 28 starts in center field...hit .228 with seven doubles and seven RBIs...went 1-for-3 with a walk in collegiate debut at the College of Charleston...doubled and drew three walks in series finale at Furman...posted two hits, including a RBI double in the series finale at Samford...closed out April with six-game hit streak...streak included a pair of three hit games, including going 3-for-6 with two doubles at UNCG...delivered a bases-clearing double in the series opener at Western Carolina.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Curtis Hudson at Socastee High School…two-time 5A  all-region and Toast of the Coast honoree…selected as the team MVP after hitting .351 as a senior…hit .387 and led the team in stolen bases as a junior…tabbed 4A all-region as a sophomore…graduated cum laude
 
PERSONAL: Son of Mark and Wendy Lane…plans to major in business administration.
