PRIOR TO THE CITADEL: Childs comes to The Citadel as a graduate transfer after playing two seasons at Wichita State and a season at Texas State...At Wichita State, Childs appeared in 86 sets over 36 matches...She registered 110 kills and 29.0 total blocks...At Texas State, she appeared in 80 sets over 26 matches, recording a career-high 133 kills, 45 digs, and 41.0 total blocks...She recorded 12 kills twice against UT Martin and Coastal Carolina...In her senior season at Texas State, the Texas State volleyball team was selected to play in the NCAA Tournament...Played at Bixby High School.
