2020: Appeared in 13 games, making 10 starts…hit .389 with three doubles, six RBIs and eight runs scored…went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBIs in first start against Yale…collected three hits and drove in two runs in the series opener against Saint Peter’s…delivered three-hit performance at USC Upstate…closed out Hartford series by going 3-for-3 with a double and a run scored…drove in a run with a sacrifice fly against VCU.

2019: Appeared in 40 games, making 36 starts…hit .200 with three doubles, eight RBIs and 17 runs scored…also drew 14 walks and stole nine bases…collected first collegiate hit against Michigan…went 7-for-13 with three RBIs in the series sweep of North Alabama…collected two hits and scored a run against South Carolina…drew a pair of walks, scored two runs and drove in the second game of the doubleheader against USF…delivered a RBI double off the wall in only at-bat at Clemson…went 2-for-3 in regular-season finale at Western Carolina…drove in a run with a base hit in the SoCon Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year starter on offense and defense at A.C. Flora…selected for North-South All-Star Game following senior season…named team’s Defensive MVP as senior after registering 102 tackles and one interception in addition to 15 rushing touchdowns and three return scores to help Falcons reach second round of AAAA state playoffs…named team’s Defensive MVP following junior season with 123 tackles, one interception and one punt return touchdown on playoff squad…recorded 82 tackles and four interceptions during sophomore campaign to help Falcons earn 12 wins and advance to AAA state semifinal…made two starts as freshman helping Flora reach state playoffs…also lettered in baseball…selected as team’s Best Player…honor roll student.

PERSONAL: Son of Kirk and Rebecca Botkin …father played football at Arkansas before playing for the New Orleans Saints and Pittsburgh Steelers…majoring in sport management.
