CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel volleyball team finishes their non-conference schedule at the Jacksonville Invitational against Jacksonville (3-6) at noon and Bethune-Cookman (3-6) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Columbia (2-4) at noon on Saturday.

Notes on the Bulldogs
- The Citadel volleyball team heads into the Jacksonville Invitational with a 3-5 overall record. The Bulldogs suffered two losses against Troy and Kennesaw State at the Troy Invitational.
- Ali Ruffin has 1,352 kills, Belle Hogan has 3,443 assists, and Jaelynn Elgert has 1,114 digs, placing them at the top of the Southern Conference in active career leaders. Ruffin and Hogan lead in both categories.
- Against Kennesaw State, freshman setter Greta Pleuss debuted in the starting lineup, delivering 35 assists, 14 digs, and two service aces.
- This is back-to-back seasons where the Bulldogs competed in the Jacksonville Invitational. The Citadel went 3-0 with wins over Florida A&M, Jacksonville, and Northern Arizona.
Scouting Jacksonville
The Dolphins have a 3-6 overall record heading into the weekend. Jacksonville has suffered losses to Boston College, Utah Valley, and Georgia at the Classic City Clash. Cami Kelsay leads the team offensively with 83 kills, Ana Tobar has 106 digs, and Madison Clark has 27.0 total blocks on the defensive end. The Citadel holds a 1-1 record against Jacksonville, with a recent 3-2 victory during the 2023 season.
Scouting Bethune-Cookman
The Wildcats are 3-6 after a weekend at the Tiger Invitational. Bethune-Cookman went 1-2 with a win over South Carolina State and two losses against Georgia State and Tennessee State. Niara Hightower leads the Bethune-Cookman with 57 kills and 45.0 total blocks. The Citadel is 7-4 against the Wildcats with a recent straight-set sweep during the 2023 season.
Scouting Columbia
The Lions are 2-4 after competing at the Friar Classic. Columbia beat Stonehill and suffered two losses against Providence and Saint Peter's. Hailee Watts leads the Lions with 64 kills and 43 digs. The Citadel is 1-0 all-time against the Lions, with a win during the 2017 season.
