- The Bulldogs went on a 6-0 scoring run with three service aces by Belle Hogan.
- Gina Delancey and Ali Ruffin put away kills to make the set 18-12 Bulldogs.
- Mercer scored four consecutive points to put it 21-18.
- Two kills from Makaya Middleton ended Mercer's chances in the first set (25-21).
- The Citadel jumped to an 11-7 lead off two kills from Maddy Cardenas and one from Middleton.
- Sadie Gomez interrupted a scoring run from Mercer with a kill making the set 24-20.
- Mercer had two late kills, but it was not enough for the Bears, as an Ali Ruffin kill ended the set.
- The Bulldogs scored the first four points of the third set with two service aces and two kills.
