October 7, 2011 The Citadel Cross Country Team Heads to Orlando for the Disney Classic The Bulldog men and women’s cross country teams will head to Orlando, Fla., this weekend to compete in the Disney Classic held at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex. The two-day event will include both college and high school races. The college race will be run on Saturday, Oct. 8 with the men’s 8k beginning at 7:45 a.m., and the women’s 5k following at 8:30 a.m.
September 24, 2011 McKee, Waldrop Lead Bulldogs to Third Place Finishes at Will Wilson Invitational Junior Austin Waldrop (27:29, fifth place) and sophomore Danielle McKee (19:52, eighth place) led the Bulldog men and women’s cross country teams to third place finishes in Saturday’s 31st-annual Will Wilson Citadel Invitational held at James Island County Park.
September 17, 2011 Bulldog Men Place Seventh at Coastal Carolina Cross Country Invitational Junior Jordan Ashley recorded an 8k time of 27:59 to lead all Bulldogs at Saturday’s Coastal Carolina Cross Country Invitational on the grounds of Quail Creek Golf Course.
September 16, 2011 Bulldog Men Set to Run in the Coastal Carolina Cross Country Invitational on Saturday The Citadel men’s cross country team will head to Conway, S.C. on Saturday, Sept. 17 to compete in the Coastal Carolina Cross Country Invitational. The 8k race will begin at 8:30 a.m. on the trails of the Quail Creek Golf Club.
September 10, 2011 Bulldog Men Take Fourth, Women Fifth at Trophy Lakes on Saturday Sophomore Danielle McKee recorded a time of 19:21 to lead all Bulldog women, while junior Austin Waldrop earned the top spot for the men’s team with a 26:52 in Saturday’s College of Charleston Invitational held at Trophy Lakes.

The Bulldog men finished in 10th place with 278 points, while the women placed 11th with 319 points.
October 29, 2010 The Citadel Set to Compete in the 2010 SoCon Cross Country Championships The Bulldog Cross Country team will travel to the mountains of Boone, N.C. to compete in the Southern Conference 2010 Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Oct. 30, hosted by Appalachian State. Held at State Farm Field, the race will begin with the women's 5k at 10 a.m., followed by the men's 8k race at 10:45 a.m.
October 16, 2010 Women Finish Third and Men 14th at the Royal CC Challenge Freshman Danielle McKee's first place finish in the women's 5,000 meter Navy race, guided The Citadel to a third place finish at the Royal Cross Country Challenge, while the men's squad finished 14th in the men's 8,000 meter Gold race. The event, ran at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, N.C., featured four races, two for the women and two for the men, 700 runners and 25 schools from NCAA Division I, II and NAIA and NJCAA.
October 14, 2010 Bulldog Cross Country to Compete in Royal CC Challenge The Citadel Cross Country team returns to action on Friday when they compete in the Royal Cross Country Challenge at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, N.C. Hosted by Queens University, the race will host nearly 700 competitors and from 35 teams including Southern Conference opponents Davidson, Elon, and UNC Greensboro.
October 2, 2010 Men Finish Fourth, Women Take Fifth at Great American Cross Country Festival The Citadel Cross Country teams competed in the Great American Cross Country Festival race on Friday afternoon at the Wakemed Soccer Park. The men came in fourth place, posting an average time of 27:06.0 and 91 points in the 8k race. The women competed in the 5k race and finished in fifth place after running an average time of 20:45.0.
September 30, 2010 Bulldog Cross Country Travels to the Great American CC Festival The Citadel Cross Country teams will travel to Cary, N.C. on Friday for the Great American Cross Country Festival slated for a 3:00 p.m. start.
September 25, 2010 Men Finish Third and Women Fourth at 30th Annual Will Wilson Citadel Invitational The Citadel Cross Country men's and women's team wrapped up the 30th Annual Will Wilson Citadel Invitational in third and fourth place, respectively, on Saturday morning at the James Island County Park in Charleston, S.C. For the third consecutive year, the men finished in third place with an average time of 27:35.90 and 57 points. The women finished fourth for the second straight year by an average time of 21:00.55 with 91 points.
September 24, 2010 Cross Country to Host 30th Annual Will Wilson Citadel Invitational The Bulldog Cross Country teams will host the 30th Annual Will Wilson Citadel Invitational on Saturday, September 25 at James Island County Park in Charleston, S.C. The invitational, which features collegiate and high school athletes, will begin with the first race at 9:00 a.m.
September 19, 2010 Cross Country Men Finish Seventh, Women Ninth at Winthrop-Asics Invitational The Citadel cross country teams competed at the Winthrop-Asics Invitational on Saturday morning. The men finished in seventh place overall with an average time of 27:04.35 and 154 points, while the women placed ninth with an average time of 21:03.92 and 249 points. Also competing in the South Carolina Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships, the men posted a fourth place finish, while the women finished in sixth place.
September 17, 2010 Bulldog Cross Country Opens Season at Winthrop-Asics Invitational The Citadel cross country teams will open the 2010 season at the 24th Annual Winthrop-Asics Invitational, hosted by Winthrop University on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 9:30 a.m. in Rock Hill, S.C. This weekend's competition is also the site for the South Carolina Intercollegiate Cross Country Coaches Championship.
