September 4, 2010 Women's Volleyball Bears Stave Off Tough Bulldog Squad Tatum Jestila led The Citadel Volleyball team with a double-double that included 10 kills and 18 digs, however Mercer emerged with a 25-22, 25-23, 25-22 victory. Jestila, the senior outside hitter, garnered All-Tournament recognition and finished with 28 kills and 38 digs in the three matches.
September 2, 2010 Women's Volleyball Bulldogs Head to Mercer Tournament for Weekend Matches The Citadel Volleyball team will participate in their second tournament in as many weekends when they head to Mercer University's Bear Brawl on Sept. 3-4. The Bulldogs will compete in a series of matches against Tennessee-Martin, Presbyterian College and Mercer, seeking their first victory of the 2010 season.
September 1, 2010 Women's Volleyball Bulldogs and Buccaneers Battle To Five-Game Thriller The Citadel overcame a two-game deficit in the match before Charleston Southern emerged with a 25-20, 25-23, 19-25, 19-25, 15-9 victory. Senior Tatum Jestila led the Bulldogs with a double-double (18 kills, 24 digs) while teammate Jessica Maas added 12 kills. Joining Jestila with double figure digs was Rachael Farrell (22), Kathryn Johnston (22) and Shannon Frain (12).

August 30, 2010 Women's Volleyball Bulldogs Make Intercity Trip to Charleston Southern The Bulldog Volleyball team returns to action on Tuesday night when they travel to Charleston Southern for their fourth match of the season. It will mark the 17th meeting between the two schools, since the 1998 season, with the Buccaneers holding a 14-2 all-time edge.
August 29, 2010 Women's Volleyball SIU-Edwardsville, Indiana State Hold Off The Citadel in Volleyball Tilt The Citadel Volleyball completed their first weekend of action with a pair of losses on Saturday afternoon to SIU-Edwardsville and Indiana State. In the early afternoon contest, the host Cougars edged the Bulldogs 25-18, 25-13 and 25-13. Indiana State followed with a tough fought 25-14, 25-18, 26-24 match against The Citadel. Leading the way were outside hitters Kaona Mercer (14 kills, four assisted blocks) and Tatum Jestila (12 kills, 21 digs).
August 27, 2010 Women's Volleyball Ball State Downs The Citadel, 3-0, In Season Opener Citadel sophomore Kaona Mercer was the bright spot for The Citadel Volleyball team, finishing with a team-high six kills, in a 25-15, 25-16, 25-17 loss to Ball State. The game marked the season opener for both teams, who are participating in the SIU-Edwardsville Tournament.
August 26, 2010 Women's Volleyball The Citadel Volleyball Opens Season Against Three First Time Opponents The Bulldog Volleyball team opens the 2010 season in a series of weekend matches against Ball State, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville and Indiana State in the SIU-Edwardsville Tournament on Aug. 27-28. The Citadel opens the season ranked sixth in the South Division of the Southern Conference Preseason Poll.

April 30, 2010 Women's Volleyball The Carolyn Geiger Volleyball Camp Slated To Start July 23 Carolyn Geiger is entering her fifth season as head coach of The Citadel Volleyball program. Under her reign, the program has seen its greatest success both overall and within the Southern Conference. In her first three seasons, she recorded more wins than the program had previously earned in its history. Through her camps, Geiger hopes to promote the sport of volleyball among the community and, as a result, gain support for a young program that is making great strides to becoming a contender in the Southern Conference.
