Bulldogs Set to Get Back to Action at High Point Spring Invitational

High Point, N.C. - The Citadel golf team will be back on the links this week as they compete in the High Point Spring Invitational. The two-day, 36-hole tournament will be played on Monday, April 3 and Tuesday, April 4 at Meadowlands Golf Course in High Point, N.C.

The par-72, 5,937-yard course will host 11 other teams besides The Citadel, including Southern Conference members Appalachian State, Wofford, Elon and Western Carolina. Rounding out the field are Radford, Hampton, Gardner-Webb, Kennesaw State, Methodist College and Old Dominion.

The Bulldogs were last in action at the Shamrock Intercollegiate March 17-19 at Tega Cay Golf Club in Rock Hill, S.C. The Citadel finished 10th out of 13 teams in the tournament, led by senior Kayla Bowsher's three-round total of 250. Bowsher has fired the lowest mark for the Bulldogs in 13 of 21 rounds played this season and six of nine tournaments.
