The Citadel rifle team took third place with an aggregate team score of 4,460 on Saturday in an NCAA match against No. 6 Army and No. 14 NC State. The Black Knights carded 4,664 points to take the team crown at the match.

Donate to The Citadel Rifle Team Today!
The Scholastic Shooting Trust Fund will give three dollars to The Citadel rifle team for every dollar donated until Dec. 31, 2012, and the Bulldog marksmen need your support. The money raised will go to the rifle team in a form of a grant that can be used to fund travel, uniforms, ammunition, entry fees, scholarships, range fees among other program needs. Grant funds may not be used to purchase firearms.

Bulldogs Release 2012-13 Rifle Schedule
Bulldog rifle head coach William C. Smith released his team’s schedule for the 2012-13 season on Monday. The Bulldogs are slated to host nine matches at the Inouye Marksmanship Center including two Southeastern Air Rifle Conference matches and the SEARC Championships.
