The Citadel Rifle Team Overpowers NCSU

Charleston, SC - The Citadel Rifle Team defeated North Carolina State in Raleigh last Saturday in an NCAA Air Rifle Competition. The Bulldogs record includes eight victories and one loss this season.
The Bulldogs had two teams competing. Team A was led by Keith Kacmar shooting a 381 out of a perfect 400. Team B was led by Vanessa Swan who shot a 350. NCSU won a practice/NCAA smallbore match fired on Sunday by a narrow margin over the Cadets. The smallbore event was the teams' first chance to practice or fire their smallbore rifles this season due to lack of facilities.
Citadel rifle takes to the road this weekend when they square off against a handful of teams at the second SEARC match of the season in Birmingham, AL.
