Biography
2024: Served as a key contributor on the offensive line throughout the season, earning playing time in nine games for the Bulldogs with multiple starts...helped the veteran five-man corps to a SoCon-best 4.00 tackles-for-loss allowed per game...the unit also surrendered just 1.75 sacks per game, good for third within the league...on the ground, The Citadel closed out the season with the second-best rushing offense in the SoCon, averaging 175.1 yards per game...also assisted team in a strong third-down conversion percentage at .379, good for third in league.
2023:Â Appeared in two games...saw time against South Carolina State... helped the team rush for 112 yards and a score against ETSU.
2022:Â Did not see game action.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Dan Jones at Gaffney High School…helped the Indians to a 15-0 record and the 5A state championship as a senior…garnered 5A All-State and All-Region honors as a junior and senior…selected to play in the Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Bowl...member of the A-B honor roll.
PERSONAL: Son of Mike and Ronna Whitman...father played football at South Carolina..plans to major in business.
