The Citadel Football Continues Fall Practice Monday Morning

Charleston, S.C. The Citadel football team practiced for nearly three hours Monday morning, working out at the newly renovated Willson Field. The team had a productive practice in helmets and shoulder pads during the morning session.

“Our players worked hard for two hours and 45 minutes this morning,” said head coach Kevin Higgins. “We continued to work on fundamentals. We installed our power running game. Our freshmen still need to learn how to be mentally tough. We are still evaluating several freshmen to determine whether they have the ability to play, travel or be listed on our two-deep.”

The team reported no injuries during the three-hour morning work out.
