JUNIOR (2012): Pitched in a team- and Southern Conference-leading 36 games, all in relief, and led the team with seven saves while winning three of four decisions and posting an ERA of 3.51 … tied for sixth in the conference in saves … worked 41.0 innings and struck out 21 while walking 12 … had five of his saves and had an ERA of 2.01 in 16 Southern Conference games … closed out shutout wins over Columbia (3/3), Coastal Carolina (4/3) and Davidson (5/6) … had saves in two of the three games vs. Georgia Southern (4/27 and 4/29) and added Southern Conference saves vs. UNC Greensboro (4/14) and Furman (5/12) … pitched two hitless innings and struck out a pair in a win over Columbia (3/4) … allowed one hit in 2.1 innings in a win over Wofford (4/1) and also earned a victory over Samford (4/7) … longest outing of the year was 4.1 shutout innings with three strikeouts vs. College of Charleston (4/22).

HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Hanahan High School … batted over .500 his final three seasons and was named all-state his senior year after earning all-region honors as a sophomore and junior … voted team MVP and best offensive player his sophomore, junior and senior campaigns … member of two-time AAU national championship Goose Creek Diamondbacks team … played on North Charleston Patriots summer league team when they won the 2009 World Series.
