SENIOR (2017-18, XC) Competed in 4 events … In the 5K Carolina Challenge he posted a time of 17:05.0 … In the Adidas Invitational 8K he posted a time of 28:01.3 … The ECU pirates 8K he had the time of 26:35.4 … The Southern Conference Championship there was a time posted of 26:37.0 …

JUNIOR (2016-17, XC): Competed in five of six events this season … Placed in the top-two in four events … Took first place at Coastal Carolina Invitational 5,000 meters with a time of 15:46.84, the team’s best… Three second-place finishes, at Carolina Challenge (15:41.36, 5K), Upstate Invitational (25:13.82, 8K), and Will Wilson Invitational (26:51.82, 8K) … Was the third Bulldog to finish at SoConChampionships with 43rdplace finish (25:43.62) … 

SOPHOMORE (2015-16, XC): Raced in all six events … Placed in the top-five in four events … Took first place honors at Carolina Challenge (16:15.04), and CofCInvitational (25:46.8) … Placed second at Will Wilson Invitational behind a time of 27:18.82 and fourth at second CofCInvitational (26:34.3) … Finished 26that Upstate Invitational with a time of 27:06.54 … Completed season at SoConChampionships with 38thplace finish (26:15.93) … 

FRESHMAN (2014-15, T&F):Placed in the top 10 of three events during the Outdoor season … had a solid performance at the Coach O Coastal Carolina Invitational where he was 14thin the 1500 meters (4:09.40) and ninth (8:16.98) in the 4x800relay along with Tripp Davis, Aaron Tribbettand James Howlin… posted a 10thplace finish in the 5000 meters (15:09.02) at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational … crossed the line 28that a time of 15:09.02 in the 5000 meters at the Florida Relays … finished a season-best third in the 3000 meters at the LowcountryCollegiate Invitational (8:59.85) … took part in the 5000 meters of the SoConOutdoor Championships, finishing 17th(15:48.49) …  capped off the Indoor season with six top 10 finishes … placed eighth in the 3000 steeplechase at the Bob Pollock Invitational, his collegiate debut, with a time of 9:01.19 … clocked 8:57.36 in the 3000 meters of the Wesley A. Brown Invitational as he placed sixth … ended the Buccaneer Invitational by placing fourth in mile (4:31.13) and sixth in the 5000 meters (15:28.75) … ran the 3000 meters in 8:52.17 at the High Point Team Challenge … recorded a fourth place finish in the 3000 meters (9:07.37) at the Kent Taylor Invite … competed in the 5000 meters of the SoConIndoor Championships where he placed 17thin a time of 15:48.49.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters each in both cross country and track … was an All-State cross country performer on four occasions … opened his freshman track season by placing All-State in the 3200 meters and reaching New Balance Nationals in the mile run, where he finished 10th. The cross country campaign included a ninth place finish in State Championship … capped off sophomore track and field season with solid outings in the 1600 and 3200 meters. His cross country season included team captain and Most Valuable Player Award, 4A All-Region selection, appearance at 5000 meters and finishing eighth in 4A Cross Country South Carolina State Championships … ended his junior season in track by placing third in State Championships (3200 meters) and Most Valuable Player award. Meanwhile, enjoyed a cross country campaign that included placing third in 4A State Championships, Region 4A Championship, All-Region and Most Valuable Player honors, while serving as team captain … grabbed All-Region and Most Valuable Player honors in cross country as he placed sixth in 4A State Championships.
 
PERSONAL:Michael Isaac Lantz… son of Kathleen and Brett Lantz… brother Raeven(2015) also competed on the cross country and track teams at The Citadel … member of Beta Club and AAU … majoring in criminal justice.
