Bulldogs open competition at Pirate Invite

ROUND 1 & 2 RESULTS
GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Citadel Bulldogs are 17th after two rounds at the 2017 Pirate Collegiate Classic, played Monday at the Greenville Country Club and hosted by East Carolina.
The Bulldogs were consistent with a team-338 and 339 in their two rounds on Monday. Cameron Little leads the way for The Citadel. She had three birdies in her two rounds on Monday and is tied for 62nd. She opened with a 79 and closed with an 80.
Host East Carolina leads by four over Western Kentucky for the top spot. Towson is third, followed by Winthrop and South Alabama. Towson's Alexis Hios and Cincinnati's Anika Hitt are tied for the individual lead at 2-under. East Carolina has three players in the top five.
The Citadel's Marina Grimal had to birdies on the back nine in her second round of the day and closed with an 84 in the afternoon.
Nadia Sandler had thirteen pars in her day and is 88th overall. Teammate Ashlee Richardson, who birdied the 18th hole both times she played it, is 86th in the large field. Hayley Dettmayer is also competing.
