CHARLESTON, S.C. – Tickets are still available for The Citadel's Southern Conference home opener on Saturday as the 17-ranked Bulldogs host Mercer for Parents' Day. Kickoff is at 2 p.m.

The Bulldog Beer Garden presented by Sticky Fingers, additional seating on the east side of JHS, and an upgraded KIDet Kids' Zone are all new amenities and upgrades in place for the remainder of the 2017 home season.
 
Below is information on the new additions and changes at JHS. Make plans to join the Bulldogs for the 2017 SoCon season as they aim to three-peat as Southern Conference Champions!
 
ADDITION OF GENERAL ADMISSION SEATING
Seating has been added to the east side of Johnson Hagood Stadium for the stretch run of the 2017 season. The seating is general admission and will be available on a first-come, first-serve so fans are encouraged to purchase their general admission tickets in advance. The seating is in close proximity to the Bulldog Beer Garden and the Kids' Zone.  
 
BULLDOG BEER GARDEN
The Bulldog Beer Garden, presented by Southern Eagle, which was unveiled earlier this year will continue to be located on the east side of JHS for the remainder of the season. The Beer Garden is located next to the Altman Center on the southeast side of the stadium. Concessions including food and beverages will be located in this area presented by Sticky Fingers.  The adjacent location will also have a kid's fun zone with inflatables for children of appropriate ages.  The Bulldog Beer Garden will be tented, accommodate up to 500 patrons, and will have TVs playing football games of interest.
 
Rules for Bulldog Beer Garden
-Beer Garden is part of JHS and requires game ticket to access and opens 90 minutes prior to kickoff
-21 & Up Only
-Must have ID for entrance to area and receive wristband (must be worn)
-Wristbands will include three drink tickets
-Three 12-oz. beer maximum per person
-Cadets will not be permitted into the area
-Service will end of the 3rd quarter

KIDS ZONE
An upgraded KIDet Kids' Zone is open to members of Spike's KIDet Club on the east side of Johnson Hagood Stadium near the north end zone. KIDet Club membership is free and includes Jumpcastles, face painting, and other fun activities are available for ages 12 & under. You must be a member of the KIDet Club to use the Kids' Zone and sign up is free. You can register online or at the Kids Zone on gameday. Register online (link) http://bit.ly/KIDetClubSignup
 
TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets for The Citadel's remaining four home games are still available in limited supply and can be purchased through The Citadel's Athletic Ticket Office, located in McAlister Field House on the northwest corner of the campus. Tickets for all athletic events are available there. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover orders can be made in person or by calling the Ticket Office at (843) 953-DOGS. Office hours are 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets to all home games may also be purchased online at www.etix.com.
 
The Johnson Hagood Stadium ticket booths open three hours prior to kick off on gamedays. On gameday, tickets may be purchased with cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.
