On Andre Roberts...
“What can you say about that kid. What a great competitor. Every time he had the ball in his hand in the second half, I knew that he was going to fight and get whatever he could get. As a coach, I had to figure a way to give him the ball more.

“We felt good out there today. We held those guys pretty well. He (Roberts) was so determined to get into the end zone and it was incredible how he came back with that 4th-and-1 play.

“I can’t tell how much a great feeling it is. It’s been a while in this locker room after a win. Our guys worked very hard for this and they put a lot of time into it. We didn’t make the big plays but we figured out a way to get us back in the end.

On next week...
“Today when we get back we will take a look at the South Carolina vs. Florida game. We know what we are in for. I think it will be in a great environment for our players and try to prove ourselves to the best team in the country.

On having a winning locker room...
Our guys have a standard and we didn’t do particularly well but they do have an understanding of winning which is why you play the game.
