Turner Named SoCon Field Athlete of the Week

Spartanburg, S.C. - Bulldog track and field athlete Quintin Turner tabbed the Southern Conference Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for all meets April 16-17. The selections are made by the league's track and field coaches.

A junior from Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Turner posted two top-five finishes at the UNF Osprey Challenge on April 17 in Jacksonville, Fla. Turner took first place in the discus with a mark of 154' 7" and tossed 143' 5" in the hammer for fourth place.
