Pembroke, N.C. - The Citadel wrestling team rolled through their dual meets at the UNC Pembroke Duals on Wednesday afternoon. In the opening matchup, the Bulldogs pounded Campbell, 42-4, and followed that by downing the host Braves, 26-14.

In the opening dual, the Bulldogs won nine matches, including the last seven to drop Campbell, 42-4. It was the team's largest margin of victory since The Citadel beat Gardner-Webb, 42-3, at McAlister Field House on Feb. 24, 2009. Richard Alarcon, Jordan Dix, Turtogtokh Luvsandorj and Pierre Frazile all earned wins by decision, while Derek Royster earned a win via forfeit. The Cadets finished the dual strong by pinning their last four opponents. J.C. Oddo, Kelby Smith, Scott Edelson and Odie Delaney all earned falls to propel the Bulldogs to their first dual victory since Dec. 4. It was the first dual action of the year for freshman Scott Edelson as he took down the Camels' Parker Burns in 2:22. Delaney picked up his 14th pin of the year by taking down Campbell's Justin Sparrow in just 11 seconds.

In the second dual, the Bulldogs (3-4) won five of the first six matches to take an early lead they would not relinquish against UNC Pembroke. Jordan Dix, Turtogtokh Luvsandorj and Pierre Frazile all earned their second victories of the day, while Derek Royster racked up a technical fall to down the Braves' Brandon Bradley. Giazzi Segarra, wrestling up in both duals, rebounded from an earlier loss by beating UNC Pembroke's Dorian McDougald in a close 3-1 decision. Kelby Smith pinned his second opponent of the day as he downed John Sturrock in 6:19. Odie Delaney, also wrestling up from his normal weight class, earned his second win of the day and closed the win out for the Bulldogs with a 9-4 decision over the Braves' Erik Stancil.
