2007: Made 21 appearances on the mound while stepping to the plate in 15 games... recorded a 5.29 ERA over 68.0 innings pitched and a 3-5 record while recording two saves... made his first collegiate appearance on the hill in relief against East Tennessee State (2/10), going five full innings and striking out two while only giving up one run... batted a perfect 2-for-2 and scored a run in his first offensive appearance in The Citadel's 7-6 win over No. 1 South Carolina (2/18)... went 4.0 innings in his first collegiate start against UNC Asheville (2/25), giving up two hits and two runs (none earned) on seven hits while striking out two... earned first collegiate win and tossed 5.0 innings in 8-3 victory over Winthrop (3/20)... blasted first collegiate home run vs. Brown (3/28) with a three-run shot in the first off the left field foul pole to give The Citadel a 3-0 lead in a 6-5 win... collected career-high three hits against Western Carolina (3/31)... made the start as pitcher and also hit in the five hole vs. College of Charleston (4/4), the first time as starting pitcher and stayed in the lineup... suffered his first loss in that game, giving up three runs (two earned) off five hits in 3.2 innings of work... picked up second win in relief in 8-5 victory at Appalachian State (4/14)... earned first career save in 25-14 win over Davidson (4/21) as he tossed the final four frames and collected career-best six strikeouts while holding the Wildcats scoreless in three of four frames, not allowing a single walk... tossed a career-long 7.0 IP in his first weekend start on the hill at UNC Greensboro (5/6), earning a win as he struck out two while giving up three runs on six hits... earned his second save of the year in the Southern Conference Tournament semifinal game against Elon (5/26), giving up only one hit while striking out three in 1.0 IP... made the start later that day in the championship game and was credited with the loss, throwing for 6.1 innings, giving up three runs scattered across eight hits and struck out five in a 4-2 loss against Wofford (5/26).

High School:  A graduate of Allen Nease High School... honored as all-city and all-state in 2005... was named the team MVP while boasting a .382 batting average and posting an 80 percent assist rate as a catcher his junior year... tabbed North Florida Player of the Year and named first team all-state MVP in 2005 and 2006... played summer and fall ball with the well-known Orlando Scorpions, coached by Sal Lombardo.
