2009:  Pitched for the U.S. National Team in the summer, going 2-1 with a 2.18 ERA in five appearances with 20.2 innings pitched and 29 strikeouts... Named to the 2009 Southern Conference All-Tournament Team... went 3-3 on the year with a 4.39 ERA... ranked 73rd in the nation in strikeouts per nine innings with a mark of 9.68... became the first Bulldog pitcher in over a decade to record 15 strikeouts in a game, fanning 15 in a complete game performance against top-seeded Elon (5/23) in the Southern Conference Tournament... that SoCon Tournament game was his first outing after straining his oblique, which sidelined him for three weeks... pitched 146 pitches in that game against the Phoenix and that was his second complete game outing of the season... pitched a complete game at Appalachian State [1] (3/25) in a 12-3 rout of the Mountaineers, allowing three runs on five hits... matched a then-career high 10 strikeouts at Davidson [2] (4/11), allowing only three runs on six hits in 7.0 innings pitched in the no-decision... struck out nine while allowing three runs on three hits in a 3-1 loss to Georgia Southern (4/25).

2008:  Was the first Bulldog pitcher to be named Southern Conference Pitcher of the Week... finished the year seventh in the Southern Conference with a 4.50 ERA... was fourth in the league with a .234 opposing batting average... ranked fifth in the SoCon with 78 strikeouts on the year... finished the season with a 5-1 record, recording 76.0 innings pitched... was the No. 3 starting pitcher throughout the season... in his first collegiate appearance, struck out nine in 6.0 innings on the mound as he did not allow a run on two hits while walking four against Delaware (2/23)... was named Southern Conference Pitcher of the Week following that dominating performance against Delaware (2/23)... followed that with eight strikeouts in 8.0 innings pitched as he allowed one run on three hits against North Carolina A&T (2/29)... struck out nine in 6.0 innings of work in a non-conference game against the College of Charleston (3/11), allowing one run on three hits in the 13-1 victory over the cross-town rival... recorded a career-high 10 strikeouts in 7.0 innings pitched in the second game of a doubleheader at Wofford (4/6), allowing four runs on seven hits... struck out seven while holding Presbyterian (5/15) scoreless on three hits in the series-opener against the Blue Hose.
