Charleston, S.C. - Prior to The Citadel-Michigan State basketball game on Dec. 7 in McAlister Field House, nationally-acclaimed author Pat Conroy, a former Bulldog point guard from the class of '67, will autograph copies of his books beginning at 6 pm.

Tipoff for the game that features last year's national runners-up is slated for 7:05 pm.

The Citadel Gift Shop will have an array of Conroy's books for sale, including his most recent work, "South of Broad."

In order to receive an autograph, all one needs is a ticket to the game.  Tickets are $22 each and may be secured by calling The Citadel Athletic Ticket Office at 843/953-DOGS (3647).

Also, Conroy has autographed a jersey No. 22, similar to the one he wore as a senior player when he earned the team's most valuable player award from the 1967 basketball team.

The Bulldogs move into Southern Conference play on Thursday when they host Davidson College at McAlister Field House at 7:05 p.m.
