The Citadel basketball team will host its annual Coke Zero "Meet the Bulldogs Night” on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m. in McAlister Field House.  Fans are invited to meet and greet members of the 2012-13 squad following a dunk and 3-point shooting contest and a brief Blue-White intrasquad scrimmage.

Fans will also be invited to participate in several on-court events and a chance to win prizes.

Doors open at 5:45 and the first 150 fans will receive complimentary sandwiches from Jersey Mike’s Subs.

A little more than a week later, The Citadel opens the season at McAlister Field House with the Army ROTC All-Military Classic, presented by USAA and Schupp Enterprises, Inc.  The Bulldogs will host longstanding rival VMI to open the season on Nov. 10, preceded by a meeting between Air Force and Army.  The following day, the Bulldogs square off with either the Falcons or Black Knights to complete the two-day event.

This is the second year the event is being held as last year, the Air Force Academy served as hosts.

The five-game November homestand continues with a pair of games against Montreat College (Nov. 14) and Union College (Nov. 17), both first-time meetings. The Bulldogs complete the opening month of the season on Nov. 24 when they go head-to-head with Radford for the first time in program history.

Season and individual game tickets are now on sale. For more information on tickets, please call the Athletic Ticket Office at 843/953-DOGS (3647).  All home games will be video and audio streamed through Bulldog Insider.  For more information on Bulldog Insider or Bulldog Basketball, visit the official website of The Citadel Athletics, www.CitadelSports.com.
